Glutamine is considered a conditionally essential amino acid, meaning that under certain circumstances the body may require more glutamine than it can produce. In the body, glutamine functions as the main nitrogen carrier and is crucial for maintaining a healthy nitrogen balance. Glutamine also acts as the primary fuel for the rapidly growing cells of the immune system and intestinal tract, on which it can have a calming effect.

Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetable capsule), hydroxypropyl cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), and silicon dioxide.
